Digital Adventure - a digital walk through at NSC

 Samsung and NSC have come together to showcase the growth of digital technology by setting up Digital Adventure.
NEW DELHI: Samsung Electronics and National Science Center have launched Digital Adventure, a platform that would give the Indian community a hands-on experience of digital technology products. The adventure showcases products with their formative history like PC monitors, digital storage solutions, mobile phones and semiconductors. It also explains basic concepts of a PC, IMT 2000 and FDMA, differences between RAM, DRAM and SDRAM, semiconductor manufacturing process and digital broadcasting. A futuristic digital era showcases the digital products that would be available in the future.
Samsung is taking an active interest in promoting IT-literacy and an affordable digital culture in the country. "This is one of Samsung's contribution to the Indian society and an effort in bridging the digital divide," said J S Jong, Executive Director, Samsung Electronics India. National Science Center is one of the largest science centers in India. The digital adventure is targeted at school children, their teachers, parents and society at large, aimed at widening knowledge and making use of the possibilities of using science and technology in education. Audiences could also surf the net for useful information on the World Wide Web.
